Meeting the Incarnate Word among Us! |

Chapter 2006 Directive:
EACH OF US WILL WORK ON BUILDING GREATER ACCEPTANCE, LOVE, TRUST, AND RESPECT FOR ONE ANOTHER IN OUR DIVERSITY SO THAT WE CAN STRENGTHEN OUR RELATIONSHIP AND HEAL OUR BROKENNESS TO BECOME A MORE UNIFIED, LOVING COMMUNITY.
GOAL 1We will seek a common understanding of community living that we can all own and live. GOAL 2In order to be freer and better able to relate with one another, we will heighten the awareness of the availability of spiritual direction and professional counseling for those who have a need or desire...recognizing seeking help as an opportunity and not a stigma. |

Update: Relational Transformation Report for Lamp MeetingMarch 26-27, 2008
(Sisters Clementine, Colette, Edwardine, Mary Virginia, Ronalda, Rose, Stephana and Stephanie Marie)
EACH OF US WILL WORK ON BUILDING GREATER ACCEPTANCE, LOVE, TRUST, AND RESPECT FOR ONE ANOTHER IN OUR DIVERSITY SO THAT WE CAN STRENGTHEN OUR RELATIONSHIPS AND HEAL OUR BROKENNESS TO BECOME A MORE UNIFIED, LOVING COMMUNITY.
- Our congregation has begun the hard work through CARE and our experience is that we have grown in this direction statement. We are discovering thru CARE in our conversations with one another that our richest resources are within ourselves individually and communally and we are called to keep tapping these resources. We are asking for the continuance of CARE sessions and periodic small group facilitator meetings for support and growth.
- We believe we have become less judgemental and at our last assembly we opened the door and revealed some of our past hurts and pain. We became more aware of how being judging and judged has affected our lives. We have a way to go and believe some explicit clarification and discussions on how common life and community living differ would help us in this objective. We have some articles available for future reading and discussion.
- Incorporating more time for “play” into our lives is a challenge. This summer we plan to include a half-day of fun into community days and hopefully include a whole day next year.
- We believe that many opportunities for wholistic growth are available. Our encouragement of each other will be a sure benefit.
- Lists of spiritual direction and counseling resources have been made available and will continue to be updated. We are called to challenge and encourage each other in accessing appropriate services. CARE skills have helped in this area by fine-tuning our values regarding boundaries and confidentiality.
- BSA and NA have availed themselves of “The Transitional Pathways in Our Life”, coordinated by Sr. Emilie. This program is available to anyone upon request.
