| We are called to adore the Incarnate Word and to become living
reminders of His Love through our lives, our prayer, and our apostolic work in the Church.
Jesus Christ, the Word sent by the Father as humanity's Savior, became incarnate in the fullness
of time to reveal the Father's Love to the world... . We seek ever more fully to remember and
relive the presence of Christ in the world. Through and in Jesus, therefore, we gather in unity
to proclaim by our lives that Love has become Incarnate and dwells among us.
Through the goodness of the Father, Jesus gifts all humankind with a new creation,
salvation, and consecration by His life, teaching, and sending of the Spirit. From Jesus
we derive respect for the sacredness of human dignity, for He Who is perfect willed
to share our human condition.
The glorious Word Incarnate comes to us, hidden beneath the sacramental species of Bread
and Wine, and unites us in His embrace of Love. Through this Eucharistic communion, the
Holy Spirit of Truth and Love teaches us to let the Word unceasingly speak His "ABBA FATHER" in us.
In response to our Savior's Love for us in the Blessed Sacrament, we seek an ever deeper
understanding of and appreciation for this awesome mystery. We are called to grow and
develop in a fully integrated Eucharistic life by:
- a purer and more profound life of charity,
- active participation in the Liturgy,
- adoration, meditation, and contemplative prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.
The word of our Risen Lord in the Scriptures is a primary source of inspiration for our lives
and serves as the criterion by which to judge the authenticity of our discipleship within community.
Jeanne Chezard de Matel, in her constant search for the Fathers's will, was called to be an
apostle of the Incarnate Word. As members of her order, we share her vocation, her charism: To be
in the Church and for the Church "an extension of the Incarnation." (from the Victoria IWBS Constitution)
